Trigonometry Song
Trigonometry Song
Actually, I want to take you all back to my childhood. It's 2067 B.S., and I was promoted to grade VIII. Not only me all my friends were eager to learn the new subject i.e Additional Mathematics. Seniors used to share their experiences while learning trigonometry. They share that boys are included in mathematics by telling Theta ((ठिटा) no Thiti (ठिटी) No offensive!.
It was hard to memorize the formula. We find our teacher as the god as he can solve the identity in an easy way. Formulas were too hectic to memorize and use, For example
Sin A = 1/CosecA,
I memorize this but we have to use SinA = TanA. CosA
From this experience also I find the same problems in my student's learning in trigonometry. I shared with them different techniques for solving the problems a few of them find easy but more finds still difficult.
It's the story that happened in 2017 A.D. Mine daju (Big Brother) Mr Yakub Rai, gave me the idea of recording the mathematics songs. Then I start to write the lyrics based on formulas of trigonometry based on the learning and teaching experience. My colleague Mr Prabin Desar (currently Senior Block Incharge) helps me a lot in this song from the beginning till recording. Mr Yaman Rai currently studying music in Australia helped me by giving his voice to my song. Not only this my students Reya Shrestha, Priya Tamang and Ms Samira Adhikari also gave her sweet voices to my mathematics (Trigonometric) song. Credits go to my students of Malpi City School as well as others too in raising the subscriber as well as views of my channel named Facilitator Basanta.
For creating the channel Mr Kamal Bhattarai helped me a lot which is unmeasurable. The support of my colleagues at MCS and others too helped me a lot. Great thanks goes to Ms Radhika Mishra of API School helped me in making the videos. The preliminary concept for the video was given by Mr Rahul Shah founder of Vibe and Wave Dance Studio Nepal.
I was excited about releasing the video on youtube. JD music channel of Nepal also telecast my song on their television. Likewise, Mr Narad Dahal helps me in airing on Star FM 95.2 (Ruslan Music FM). The video was shot by Tatsama Arts, My student Mr Ayush Shrestha helped me shoot the video. I need to remember Mr Krishna Prasad Dahal, who sponsored the video.
I have received a lot of comments on my videos. It motivates me in making another mathematics video song. My second song's music is composed by Mr Chetan Karki, hope that soon it will be recorded. Also, I like to thank the students (Jenas Banjara, Rhytmn Baral, Kushi Dangol, Sunima Dangol, Manushree Pandey, Prashna Pandey, Lokesh Rokaya, Rohit Neupane, Chakrabir Bhandari, Prathana Sharma, Nikita Mahar, Anshu Parajuli, Dikshya Adhikari, Dipansi Paudel, Dikshya Aryal, Bhabisya Bista, Nischit Pandey) of API School in the creation of Music video.
